We are pleased to announce that the Lassen Community College Licensed Vocational Nursing Program will begin August 21st, 2017. This program has been completely revamped and has been built to offer our students a comprehensive top level nursing education.  Our goal is to ensure that we produce confident and competent nurses, prepared to join our local workforce.

Important Dates to Consider:

May 2nd, 2017 – Mandatory Information Session at Middleton Hall on the Lassen Community College Campus. The session will be offered at 5:30 PM, doors will open 30 minutes before the session start time. All prospective students are required to attend this information session.

June 1st, 2017 – Application period opens, online applications will be accepted from June 1st, 2017 through 11:59 PM on July 1st, 2017.

*To apply click the application link, you will need your LCC student identification number. You will also be asked to upload proof of high school completion or equivalent, your unofficial transcripts, and proof of CPR certification.

July 1st, 2017 – Application period closes at 11:59 PM.

July 12th, 2017 – If more than 26 “Qualified” applications are received a committee will meet to randomly select students through a lottery drawing.

July 14th, 2017 – Applicants will be notified of their status in the program through email communication, 24 students will receive acceptance letters, 2 students will receive alternate status letters and the remainder will receive instructions on the next application period for the Fall 2018 course.

July 31st, 2017 – Nursing program orientation, this will be a mandatory event for all individuals accepted into the nursing program.

August 21st, 2017 – Official Start of the Fall 2017 Licensed Vocational Nursing Program at Lassen Community College!!!!
